How to use a Multimeter For Beginners....!

Multimeters are the most comman electronic tool for correctiing electrical and electronics problems.It helps in checking a wire or current, resistance, voltage and continuity.
 Now a days without multimeter we cannot find problems in our circuit

   HERE WE GO with the basics..
REMEMBER:Always set to maximum limits before measuring and slowly go down until correct reading.

1 .The AC voltage (~) this tells us the AC voltage of the mains which we want to know
Caution:Always Set the dial to Maximum.Turn the dial to the max ~ AC limit.Then connect black probe to COM and red probe to mAV.This will measure the voltage from the mains.Connect both probes to the wall point to meausure voltage.

2.The DC voltage (-) This tells us the DC voltage of which we want to know.It can be used for all DC supplies like Cells,batteries,other circuits of DC.

3.Resitance this tells us how much the wire can resist and other metals
Caution:Never use resistance setting for batteries this will destroy the multimeter continuity mode.

THis is the basic for any one trying to learn multimeters.
